Are you artistic? Or enterprising? Or studious? Or detail oriented? Or, are you just plain confused? No wonder! You have so many things to think about before you can make decisions about your career.
Listed below are some web sites that may help you with your decision-making process. They are not listed in any order of priority and are only provided as resources. Sound decisions are important, so consider the information from the resources listed below. Also, don’t forget to talk to your teachers, counselors and other adults whose opinions you respect. And, most important of all, talk to your parents.
Planning For Your Career. This site has several sections, one particularly focusing on high school students. You will find help in developing career goals, finding the right college, the application process, financing, and getting the job. This site also has sections for middle school, college, teachers, counselors and parents. Hundreds of Careers to Read About. The U.S. Government has done you a favor by providing this resource. The Department of Labor as provided detailed information on hundreds of careers. Career Quiz. The Princeton Review offers this site to learn more about your interests and your usual style. The site also offers information on finding a college, and a special section for educators. |
